RACHEL WINTER
Rachel Winter is an Academy Award®-nominated producer of the acclaimed film DALLAS BUYERS CLUB. Based on a true story, the powerful film earned six Academy Award® nominations including Best Picture, winning three of them including lead actor for Matthew McConaughey and supporting actor for Jared Leto. The film also received accolades from the Producers Guild of America, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Golden Globe Awards and the Broadcast Film Critics Association’s Critics Choice Awards.
Winter also produced the LeBron James biopic SHOOTING STARS alongside James and Maverick Carter for their Springhill Entertainment and Universal, which premiered in early June. In addition, Winter produced and directed a nine-part audio drama for iHeart Radio titled "Supreme, The Battle for Roe." The series made its debut on June 28th, the one-year anniversary of the Dobbs decision reversing Roe V. Wade. The series stars Maya Hawke (Stranger Things) and William H. Macy.
Winter has several projects in development including a feature based on the life of daredevil motorcycle icon Evel Knievel at Paramount written by William Monahan (Academy Award®-winning writer of “The Departed”) with Leonardo DiCaprio attached to star; Along with a film about Rodney Dangerfield being written by her husband, Terence Winter, set for Jonah Hill to play Dangerfield.
